Job description
Mission
The Head of Sales drives BlueQuo's revenue growth by personally opening and closing new B2B business with scale-ups, VC and PE firms. It is a hands-on "hunting" role: building the commercial engine from scratch and reporting directly to the CEO. BlueQuo is an AI People Studio that helps People departments elevate and scale talent management through the efficient use of technology.
Responsibilities
Hunt and close new business: Identify, negotiate and close key accounts across scale-ups, VC and PE firms.
Own the full commercial cycle end-to-end: Run prospecting, outreach, proposals, negotiation and closing hands-on, without relying on a team.
Build C-level and VC/PE relationships: Nurture a network of investment funds and senior executives to sustain a high-quality pipeline.
Onboard clients and manage contracts: Ensure a smooth transition from close to delivery, and manage contracts and payments through to collection.
Grow recurring revenue and existing accounts: Increase MRR, upsell within the client base and develop strategic partnerships.
Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy: Drive client acquisition, distinctive positioning and high-quality demand generation.
Job requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B tech & consulting growth with commercial experience.
Proven track record in client management and upselling within project scopes.
Familiarity with agile or similar methodologies, with a focus on deliverables and efficiency.
Demonstrable history of consistently driving significant revenue growth and exceeding ambitious targets, with a clear "hunter" mentality.
Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
Deep expertise in developing and executing successful sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategies.
Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing, results-oriented teams.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
Prior experience working within the HR tech industry is considered a significant advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
